“John Zangari, secretary of No Data Centers in Mifflin County, said rural areas are prime locations [for data centers], as they have large swathes of relatively flat and undeveloped land. A data center proposal by PA Data Center Partners and PowerHouse Data Centers was introduced and later rejected in Granville Township, Pennsylvania.”
“We all know in our gut what will likely happen, our land sold off in sweetheart deals to politically connected developers,” Zangari said. “My plan would preserve this rich farmland for our farmers to till, protect our Spring Creek watershed, and prevent data centers from ever getting a foothold on this vast property.”
